The idea behind the recreational vehicle

Back in the day, it was almost impossible for most of the ordinary men to buy a house of their own. Commuting to great distances for businesses and pleasures, it might have seemed like a good option to have hotels but they started charging more than usual. Someone back in the day eventually came up with the idea of having a drivable vehicle with essentially a house within the vehicle itself where one can pull off the road, relax and enjoy the sunsets without ever worrying about paying high hotel rents. Thus, the RV came into existence.

A car, SUV or even a truck can only offer you so much. When you are looking for some extreme luxuries and a place to sleep in as well, you would naturally opt for a recreational vehicle. These are extremely large and normally available within the price bracket of $35,000 to $60,000 a piece. There are some which might cost 10 times that to Click Here to read the full article. Those are normally seen as properties of Hollywood studios, used for A grade filmstars and their services on sets. The reason remains the same; RV can offer luxury on wheels which no other vehicle can think up of offering had the original recreational vehicle not existed.

However, with all said, there are certain issues that did come forth with the entire idea of having a house on wheels. Unlike the properties and real estates, these do not appreciate in value. If anything, these go the other way.

Here’s a number to crunch on. The minute you drive your brand new RV out of the lot, the RV immediately drops around 30% of its value instantly. That means, if you have paid a $100,000, you have already lost $30,000 just by driving it out. That is how quick these massive monsters depreciate.
